How to get visa to Iran ?
Getting Tourist Visa
to Iran has a simple procedure. Iran Airia can apply and obtain visa
authorization for all foreign nationals (except Israeli passport
holders) in 10 to 14 working days.
NB: Until further
notice we do not apply for visa authorization for Canadian
nationals.
Our charges for
providing "Visa Authorization" service are:
US $200.00 per person (or
100.00 British Pounds or 170.00 Euros)
-
For those
travelers who use a complete tour package for at least a week (including hotels,
all airport transfers and transportation, guide, city tours, all meals and
entrance fees) visa will be
free of charge !

For American Nationals we will apply
and get visa very quickly in any Iranian Consulate around the world. But
we process Iran visa for American passport holders
only if they come to Iran as tourists and use our
services (hotel, car, guide ... etc.) during their entire stay in Iran.
Remember that we do not have any public tour
operating at a certain date for any client to join in. You should state
the type of ground arrangements you require and we organize a completely
private tour for you.
-
The only place to get Iran visa
in the United States is the "Interests Section of the Islamic
Republic of Iran". This Interests Section acts exactly as an Iranian
Consulate but due to lack of full diplomatic ties
between Iran and the US, this consulate is located inside the
Pakistani Embassy in Washington D.C. (for further information please
visit Iranian Interests Section in Washington
).

In order to apply
and get your visa authorized we need your passport details and some personal
data. ( Please check the following Visa Form ). After receiving the data ,
we apply for your visa through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran.
Your visa will then be authorized by the MFA and the authorization will be
faxed (by the MFA) to the Iranian consulate near you . This is, in fact, an
"internal correspondence" between the Ministry and one of its consulates.
The correspondence will naturally take place under a reference number. It is
this reference number we provide you with and we call it "Visa Authorization
Reference Number" with which you can refer to the consulate to get your visa
. Iranian consulates are everywhere from North , Central and South America
to all over Europe , Middle East, Asia, Africa , Australia, and the Far East
. The visa authorization number, however, is valid only in the consulate you
have asked us your visa to be issued in. For example, if you
originally ask your visa to be issued in Frankfurt and we give you an
authorization number, you cannot get your visa with the same authorization
number in our consulate in London or Bombay. If you change your mind
regarding the visa issuance place, we have to go through the application
process once again and another visa authorization fee will be charged.
-
The number we give
you is just an "authorization". This reference number means that
your visa has been authorized and approved by the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs but it is not the visa itself. After we announce you the visa
authorization reference number you should first get a visa application form from the
consulate and follow the requirements of the application form (you may
either personally go to the consulate to get the application forms or - if
the service available - download it from the web site of the Iranian embassy
in your country). Then you should write a "Cover Letter" in which you
must mention that you are a tourist , that Iran Airia is the organizer of
your tour (please give full address and contact numbers of Iran Airia) , and
that your visa has been authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in
Tehran with "such & such" Authorization number. Then you should refer to the consulate to lodge your
passport, your photos, and the application forms together with the cover letter.
It might take one to five
days for the consulate to issue your visa.
-
When the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran fax the
visa authorization to any of their consulates in the world it usually takes
one or two days for the consulate to confirm the receipt of the visa
authorization . So after we give you the reference number, please
allow one or two days and then refer to the consulate to receive your visa.
-
Normally, all tourist visas issued by
Iranian consulates have a "3-month" validity. Therefore, if you like
to travel to Iran in, say, September and you receive your visa in June or early
July, your visa will expire by the time you arrive in Iran. It is better to get
your passport stamped with Iranian tourist visas just a couple of weeks before
the date you actually want to arrive in Iran.
NB:
Our "Visa Charges" stated above
are not the "Visa Stamp Fee" (that
varies in different countries and must be paid directly by the applicant to the Iranian
Consulate).
